María del Campo is the representative of cocoa-grower women and their families in Colombia and the National Federation of Cocoa growers - FEDECACAO is a trade union that represents and promotes more than 60,000 cocoa grower’s families.

INCAS Global+ project is part of the Agrichains Global Programme by the German Cooperation for Development – GIZ. This project aims to increase sustainability in the agricultural supply chains of cocoa. Colombia is the first country in Latin America to join the Global Cocoa & Forests Initiative, through CACAO BOSQUES & PAZ initiative, with the objective of promoting zero deforestation in the cocoa production models.

The traceability of Colombian cocoa, through the ConCacao project implemented and Cacao para la Vida project, ensures transparency on its origin, processing and trade; supporting sustainable and ethical practices for the industry.

Aurora project focused on increasing the capacities of fine flavor cocoa associations, supporting improvement of infrastructure and coordinating connections with specialized markets that value traceability, quality and good environmental practices of Colombian cocoa.
